Product Manager I

Role

Utilise your understanding of bioprocesses to support new and existing customers in their use of the modeling tool BioSolve Process. Provide support to customers, support product development, understand the requirement from internal and external customers, specifically:

  • Help Product Manager II for the customer support (Helpdesk) in their usage of BioSolve Process
  • Support documenting Product Related Materials, such as
    • User Guide
    • Release Note
    • Specification Documents
  • Support product development
  • Assist delivering training to new users
  • Provide configuration support

Qualifications / Experience

A good BEng/MEng/PhD/EngD degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering and post graduate qualification in Biochemical Engineering.

  • Technical understanding of bioprocesses, preferably with Biotech design and modelling experience and or process development experience
  • A demonstrable ability to solve problems and clearly communicate the answer to others
  • Experience in working with Excel and BioSolve Process is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Good track record of documentation experience is highly desirable.
  • If BEng/Meng, you should have at least 3 years of experience in Pharma/Biopharma Industry
    • If you have no experience in industry, please still apply as we may consider you for a Graduate Position
  • If you are a PhD/EngD or Post Doc, industry experience is not required but is desirable

Product Manager II (Grade 4)

Role

Utilise your understanding of bioprocesses to support new and existing customers in their use of the modelling tool BioSolve Process. Provide support to customers, attention to detail, support product development, understand the requirement from internal and external customers, specifically:

  • Lead customer support (Helpdesk) in their usage of BioSolve Process
  • Liaise with client IT to assist Product Deployment
  • Develop Product-Related Materials
  • Such as User Guide, Release Note, Specification Documents
  • Support product development and update activities
  • Deliver training to new users
  • Provide configuration support

Qualifications

A good BEng/MEng/PhD/EngD degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering and a postgraduate qualification in Biochemical Engineering.

  • Technical understanding of bioprocesses, preferably with Biotech design and modelling experience and or process development experience
  • A demonstrable ability to solve problems and clearly communicate the answer to senior engineers and Management Team
  • As a member of a fast-growing consultancy strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with BPS consultant engineers to develop technical solutions
  • Experience in working with Excel and BioSolve Process is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong documentation experience with Technical/Software Products is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years’+ experience in a similar role

Consultant / Principal

Role

Seeking a Consultant to be an integral member of BPS’s consulting team. Biopharm Services is at the heart of the digital revolution taking place in biopharmaceutical development & manufacturing, based on its proprietary modelling software.
The consultancy group utilise the BioSolve software to assist a wide range of biopharma and biotech companies, to understand and optimise their sustainability metrics, process economics and value proposition. Training on using the software will be given.
If you are experienced in bio/pharmaceutical processing or engineering, interested in the bigger picture view of the industry and want to provide a data-driven, value-added service to biopharma and biotech suppliers, then we would like to hear from you.
This position will be UK & home-based, with frequent travel (approximately 30%) to the US and EU, including internal meetings.

The tasks to be carried out daily include:

  • Liaise with clients on their requirements, and propose a work plan that meets expectations.
  • Conduct consultancy work, regularly updating progress with the client and internal team.
  • Seek new consultancy business – by networking, actively participating in conferences, forums, blogs, and publications.
  • Be prepared to work for and with other team members and company associates to deliver business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends in the biomanufacturing space and understand the connection with process modelling.

  • Experience in working with data analysis or visualisation is desirable.
